What to expect.
This long-term solution for unwanted hair growth is suitable for all skin and hair types. Utilising intense pulsed light, the treatment damages hair follicles to minimise future growth.
In recent years it has become popular with both men and women, proving to be a lower cost hair removal option in the long term than using the traditional methods of waxing or shaving. It can be especially useful for those with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome which often comes with the side effect of Hirsutism which presents as dark, coarse facial hair on the upper lip and chin.
Prior to treatment, a consultation and patch test will be carried out.
Due to variations in hair growth, we recommend between 8-12 sessions for the best results, though results will be visible after just a few sessions. 4-8 weeks is the recommended wait time between treatments.
